Integrative medicine is a term used to describe the combination of conventional and alternative medicine. At our clinic, we like to offer both Western and alternative medicine approaches to our veterinary service to suit everyone’s preferences.
Dr Jamie has a wide range of knowledge of herbal medicine as well as conventional medicine, allowing us to offer an integrative approach to many of our services. Our pharmacy is also stocked with a wide range of herbal medicines, so we can offer the best possible care for your pet.
Animal acupuncture can be a great way to treat various conditions in both cats and dogs. Our amazing vet, Dr Georgia, offers acupuncture treatments that can help with arthritis, chronic pain, back and neck pain, spinal or neurological conditions, poor mobility, and post-surgery recovery. Acupuncture is a safe and gentle treatment that can offer relief for your pet. Veterinarian
Kindhearted Kennedy was born and raised in Canada, yet trained at the University of Sydney. She has a keen interest in small animal medicine and she loves all things feline. Outside of the clinic, you can find Kennedy out in the garden, hiking the nearby hills or spending time with her puuurrfect fur-baby Tully. We’re so excited to have Kennedy as part of our team
Veterinarian
Amazing Lobke graduated in the Netherlands in 2009, and moved to Australia shortly afterwards. Over the years she’s worked in various clinics in NSW and QLD, including at RSPCA. After a stint in veterinary research, she’s joined us in clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays!
Lobke is always dedicated and thorough – she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but she has a particular liking for surgery and has a soft spot for geriatric and feline patients.
Lobke lives on acreages near Goonellabah with her partner, son, 2 terriers and a small herd of cattle.
In her down time, she can be found tinkering around her home and garden, singing, sewing, walking, doing yoga and catching up with friends.
Nurse
Sweet Delyth is currently our recently qualified junior nurse, who has just completed her Certificate 4 in Vet Nursing! Watch this space as Del is a super nurse, and truly loves continually upskilling. She loves making a positive impact on her patients’ well-being. Del believes that the small things can make all the difference so extra love and cuddles are always made available. Del’s happy place is at the beach in the sunshine with her longboard.
HR & Admin
Caring Kassie has recently joined the family with a world of knowledge and experience. She has experience in management and has years of nursing at specialist hospitals under her belt. Kassie is passionate about gold standard patient care, and loves working with people. Kassie is also the ultimate super mum and loves spending her free time going on adventures with her husband, two children and dog Kiki.
Practice Manager
Lovely Silja has recently joined the Bangalow Vets team as our first practice manager. She has been in the animal industry for over 10 years and studied Veterinary Technology at uni. Although professional, she tries not to take life too seriously and brings laughter to the clinic. Her goal is to continually help our clinic (family) to improve and grow together. She loves emergency and is passionate about animal wellbeing. When she is not at the clinic, you will more than likely find her surfing at her favourite beaches or free diving. As a hobby, Silja also enjoys going to acting classes.
Nurse
Caring Cath started working at Bangalow Vets in May 2020. She brings years of experience working as an anaesthetic technician alongside many specialists in Sydney. Cath loves cuddling your pets to help make them feel safe, loved and cared for. She is also passionate about emergency care and making a difference to client and pet experiences at the clinic. Cath has a soft spot for Golden Retrievers after the passing of her darling girl, Chloe. Cath loves horses and spends time out of work at the beach, swimming, photography, painting and practicing Pilates.
Nurse
Joyful Jessica joined the Bangalow Vets family in June 2020. Her charismatic personality warms the clinic. She is passionate about all things wildlife, and she also enjoys emergency work, grooming and surgical nursing. Jessica and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ranoo, enjoy spending time at the beach. Jessica also enjoys dancing and free diving.
Nurse
The charming Roger has been working with us at Bangalow Vets since October 2020. His calm and nurturing nature brings ease to pets and owners during stressful times. He has trained and practiced as a veterinarian in Spain and brings his experience and knowledge to his position here. Roger enjoys surgical nursing, emergency triage, pathology and palliative care. When he’s not at work you can find Roger surfing, at the beach or playing music with friends.

The beautiful Lisa has been with Bangalow Vets ever since we first opened in 2018. Her funny personality puts a smile on the face of everyone she meets. She is incredibly compassionate and enjoys caring for your pets and helping to educate owners about pet care. When she’s not at work, Lisa loves spending time at the beach with Elsie her rescue Lab x Staffy. She also enjoys doing yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
Head Nurse
Fabulous Flo joined the team shortly after we opened in 2018. Her gentle and soft nature warms the hearts of our clients and their pets. She has trained and practiced as a veterinarian in Uruguay and brings years of experience and knowledge to her position here. She loves surgical nursing and emergency triage. Flo enjoys the simple things in life; living by the beach and living a healthy and active lifestyle.
Veterinarian
The amazing Ailsa opened Bangalow Vets in April 2018. Her vast clinical experience and business expertise guides us all to thrive to be the best versions of ourselves. Ailsa loves helping people through helping their pets. She gets so much joy from reuniting the animals she’s ‘fixed’ with their owners. Ailsa is passionate about ultrasound and emergency medicine, and she loves getting her hands on all the new technical equipment becoming available for veterinary use. Ailsa and her husband, Michael, are kept busy at home with their two dogs and two cats. When she’s not at the clinic, Ailsa loves staying fit and spending time in the outdoors!

Wonderful Abbie joins the family at Bangalow Vets with 11+ years of veterinary experience. She has practiced over in the UK and has even worked in Cambodia. Abbie enjoys surgery so much that she is currently undergoing further surgical studies with Sydney University. Abbie grew up in Ewingsdale with many animals around her as a child and is now a Bangalow local with her husband and children.

Joyful Jamie has been with the team since 2021. With him he has brought a holistic and integrative approach to the table with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine qualifications. He also enjoys surgery and forming relationships with his clients. Jamie truly cares about every layer of your pet’s wellbeing, and a conversation about nutrition never goes astray. He loves spending his free time with his family and their senior dog, Chief.

Amazing Georgia started working at Bangalow Vets in February 2021. She has a big heart and never says no to any animal in need. She loves meeting new people and their animals and seeing clients leave happy after treating their animal’s illness or injury. Georgia is passionate about dentistry and finds being a vet very rewarding. Did you know that Georgia provides animal acupuncture services? She loves the beach and surfing and is also passionate about travelling and running.
